Introduction

The world’s tomorrow is being written today- in the education and environment that we provide to our children. As an educational institution, you understand better than most how essential it is to invest in their education, nurture their creativity, and empower them to be the best version of themselves. We stand with you in pursuit of this common aim: to foster not only academic excellence but also the holistic development of young people, both in skill and in character.

Education is entrusted with the task of enabling students to face life’s challenges; physical, emotional, mental, and social.

EBBC, Energy Building Brain Connections, is an educational organization. We offer the development of the nervous system through energy-building concepts and simple exercises. A nervous system that is better equipped to handle the various pressures of life results in a higher-performing individual, across all fields that they apply themselves to.

Our experiential workshops for teachers and students make use of simple, science-based principles to guide each individual to raise their physical and mental capabilities at their own pace, as well as the collective performance of the group by creating an Energized Environment.

We offer two types of workshops:

For Teachers: The Energy Way Rising: Teacher Empowerment Workshop Further broken down into:

  • Junior School Teachers- Pre-primary to Grade 5
  • Middle School Teachers- Grade 6 to 8
  • Senior School Teachers- Grade 9 to 12
  • College/Higher education: Teachers of all departments together

For Students: The Energy Way Rising: Student Empowerment Workshop Further broken down into:

  • School: Individual Grades/Classes (All sections)
  • College: Individual Years (All departments)

Further breakdown into individual sections/departments may be done at the discretion of the institution.

The workshops are built upon the common foundation of The Energy Way Rising. Since the approach and objectives for teachers and students of different age groups are different, hence the sessions will be taken separately.

OBJECTIVES:

Our primary objective is the holistic development of children through Energy Rising. We recognize that this can be best achieved by providing them with a well-rounded Energy Environment that extends to the child’s peers, teachers and family. While we currently only offer workshops for Teachers and Students, we encourage the participants to take home what they have learnt here and involve their families in the process of self-rising.

For Teachers

Our workshop for teachers focuses on the challenges teachers face in their professional as well as personal lives, and we aim to teach them how to raise their energies to effectively manage the multitude of responsibilities expected of them- such as:

  • Meeting academic demands and adapting to the diverse learning needs of students Keeping up with a rigorous, and sometimes inflexible curriculum can be challenging, especially considering the wide range of learning abilities and needs, such as balancing the level of instruction for higher achievers and those who require additional support.
  • Managing classroom behaviour while also fostering an encouraging learning environment This is particularly difficult with older students, considering the biological changes brought on by adolescence, as well as the distractions of social media and other technology. Addressing student apathy and helping them see the value of their education in real-world contexts also remains a continuous challenge for many.
  • Taking care of their own mental health and well-being The teaching profession tends to be stressful, with long hours, heavy workloads, and emotional demands. Balancing professional responsibilities with personal life is a common struggle, and many teachers do not have the time or access to adequate support resources, leaving them to cope with stress and burnout on their own. The admirable and necessary notion of putting students first must also be supplemented with the reminder that one cannot pour into others if their own cup is empty.

For Students

The systemic pressure on students is at an all-time high, with even young teenagers beginning to express concern about their future at tender ages of learning, playing and growing. In senior students, the stress is much more pronounced, visibly impacting their health, academic performance, and overall well-being.

Our workshop for students focuses on the development of their minds and bodies, with particular emphasis on teaching them how to create neurons and synapses to enhance their capacity to handle everything that life throws at them. Through Rising in Energy, the child can learn how to develop their own abilities and navigate adulthood with ease instead of uncertainty. The development of Energy Neurons and Energy Synapses gives them the ‘tools’ to then deal with life challenges such as:

  • Academic and Co-curricular Pressures In countries like India, where the results of competitive exams heavily determine future career opportunities, the pressure to score well is in direct competition with the feeling to understand and learn real concepts, in the child’s mind. The demanding academic schedule of higher classes often makes allocating time to hobbies and extra(sic)curricular activities impossible. Time management becomes a critical issue for most.
  • Career and Future Uncertainty Deciding on a future career path is a pivotal moment in the life of a student. The uncertainty of choosing between different paths is made harder by the wealth of information and misinformation available online, and many students, despite guidance and support, feel this anxiety weighing heavily on their shoulders.
  • Social and Interpersonal Situations Most teenagers experience social dynamics, conflicts, bullying, or feelings of isolation to varying degrees. Navigating friendships, relationships, and unique circumstances at home adds to the mental turmoil that students feel.
  • Mental Health and Well-being Mental health issues are increasingly common among high school students. Academic pressure is a given, but adolescence is also a time of significant personal development. Students often struggle with issues related to identity, self-esteem, and body image. Peer pressure and the desire to fit in can lead to stress and confusion.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES:

The primary outcome of this practice is the development of Energy Neurons and Energy Synapses- the most basic functional units of the brain. Subsequently, the individual ability to absorb, process, and make decisions is enhanced, and the increased mental capacity allows more information to be managed without feeling stressed.

The physical component of the exercise also promotes general body processes, such as breathing, circulation, and digestion, to name a few.

In essence, the development of mind and body through energy results in a more capable individual, by all general parameters. This translates to higher performance and reduced stress in the day-to-day processes of the given individual- teacher, student, artist, dancer, homemaker etc. Each of us has multiple roles to fill in life- like the multiple branches of a tree. To build Energy is to water the roots.

The specific outcomes of Energy Building on each participant depend on several factors, including but not limited to consistency and depth of practice- both individually and as a group. Typically individual results first appear in physical health, mental health, sleep, diet, academics/work, hobbies, home environment, work/school environment etc. i.e. the areas one is most involved and present in. With time and consistent practice, further specialized experiences appear.

As an institution, with regular group practice of teachers in the staff room, teacher with class, etc., the early experiences typically pertain to classroom discipline, behaviour, focus, rapport, and academic performance of students, and the work/life management, health, performance and output of teachers. Again, with time and consistent practice, further experiences appear according to the vision and mission of the institution as a whole.

Effectiveness will be evaluated through participant feedback collected post-workshop, and “before and after” observations by the teachers and Principal. If the institution has any quantifiable metrics already in place, the results of those in the months following the workshop can also be compared to previous months.

  • Is this some kind of meditation or spiritual healing exercise?

No. The Energy Way, and the corresponding exercises taught in our workshops, do not fall into the category of meditation.

Our concepts are based on the fundamental thought process of Energy, and the effects of our exercises are explained through the biology of the human body.

The Energy Way is an experiential learning workshop, that teaches self-development of the body and mind through Energy Rising. Experiences felt through regular practice are unique to individual circumstances. EBBC does not offer medical advice in any capacity and does not claim to heal, spiritually or otherwise.

  • Does this practice have a religious approach?

No. The Energy Way is a science-based understanding of Energy as a fundamental concept. There is no affiliation to any religion, belief system, doctrine, etc. The exercises and the line of thought are not meant to displace anybody’s existing faith. This is a practice intended for the self-rising of the performer, and one may even experience greater depth in their own existing belief system!

Because it is simply Energy we are talking about – it takes the performers deep into their respective capabilities & interests, like maths, sciences, music, art, jobs, and paths of life- to feel the sense of achievement in fulfilling their immediate responsibilities and roles.

Experience your Rising, and watch it manifest in your life, unique to you!

  • What is the recommended age group?

Each one of us in entitled to rise in Energy. There is no age restriction on The Energy Way. We highly encourage young children, senior citizens, and everyone in between to join us in Rising!

Each person can perform according to their own capacity. The purpose is to observe the rising through balance of each individual, during their performance.

  • Can the exercises be practised after meals?

Yes, the exercises are simple and posture-based at the physical level. There is no exertion or sharp movement, hence they can be performed anytime, anywhere, by anyone. In fact, they activate and support the digestion and absorption of food, so it is beneficial to perform them after meals also.
